About Candid Coaching

Who I Am

I'm Elizabeth "Eli" Fitzpatrick (she/they), a Career Coach with nearly a decade of HR experience and a background in Counseling Psychology. I'm passionate about helping you discover what makes you tick and find meaning in your work and life.

My Approach

Whether working with individuals on career transitions or organizations on people strategy, I believe that sustainable success comes from aligning business objectives with genuine human needs. The best outcomes happen when we don't have to choose between performance and well-being—we can achieve both thoughtfully and intentionally.

My coaching & consulting is guided by four core values:

Care, Connection & Community

I bring unconditional positive regard to every engagement. Trust and authentic connection form the foundation for meaningful progress, whether in coaching relationships or organizational change.

Authenticity & Genuineness

True purpose emerges when people can be uniquely themselves. I help individuals and organizations embrace authenticity as a source of strength and sustainable success.

Growth & Learning

I encourage exploration of challenges with self-compassion and curiosity, recognizing inherent strengths while building new capabilities for individuals and teams.

Freedom & Liberation

Together, we identify areas of agency and influence to create meaningful change, whether in career direction or organizational culture, even within existing systems.

As a liberation-oriented coach and consultant, I value transparency. Our values don't need to match perfectly—what matters most is whether we both feel we can build a productive, meaningful partnership.

My Commitment to Equity & Inclusion

As a queer, white neurodivergent person who is physically able-bodied, I understand how power, privilege, identity, and life experiences shape our professional journeys and affect access to opportunity. Raised in a lower socioeconomic background and currently identifying as middle class, I bring awareness of systemic barriers to both my coaching and consulting work. I reside on the land of the Numu (Northern Paiute), Wasiw (Washoe), Newe (Western Shoshone), and Nuwu (Southern Paiute) peoples. I am dedicated to working with you wherever you are on your path, honoring the unique constellation of identities and experiences that make up who you are.

My undergraduate foundation includes a triple major from Beloit College, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology, Creative Writing, and Critical Identity Studies. This interdisciplinary background provides me with a deep understanding of human behavior, cultural dynamics, and the intersection of identity and power in organizational settings.

My specialized training includes group facilitation and dynamics, enabling me to design and lead effective team interventions and training programs. Additionally, I've completed specialized training from Janina Fischer in trauma-informed practices, allowing me to create psychologically safe environments for both coaching clients and workplace teams.

My expertise centers on conflict resolution and mediation, where I've successfully resolved complex workplace disputes and interpersonal challenges. I specialize in leadership development and coaching, having worked one-on-one and in group settings with executives and management teams. My background in psychology informs my approach to organizational behavior and culture change, while my commitment to equity drives my expertise in DEIB strategy and implementation.
